Guess who is an Indie Best Seller??

These last two weeks have been... I don't think there's a word to describe what they've been. 'A dream' isn't appropriate. Unreal. Let's go with unreal.

If you're reading this, then I hope you've enjoyed one of my two works (but I hope both). So, I'd like to thank you from the very bottom of my heart. Publishing, at least to me, is pretty terrifying. Knowing that at least a few people have enjoyed something that I wanted to stab myself in the eye over several times,  is beyond amazing.

My hands have shook more times over the course of the last fourteen days than they have in my entire life, and I'm still wondering where I found my four-leaf clover.

One last time--THANK YOU!

Sparkling cider to everyone. Hooray!

I'm absolutely, ridiculously excited to announce that Under Locke (my newest novel) is up!

HOORAY! You can find it on Amazon and Barnes and Noble right now. It should also be up on Kobo within the next couple of days.

Thank you guys so much for all your support over the years! I hope you enjoy Under Locke!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to check in quickly. Lately, I've been getting a lot of messages asking where I've disappeared to and when I'm planning on updating my fanfic page again. Sorry!

About a week ago, I posted on my Twitter that I was going to go on a bit of a break until I finished my original romance. It's going really well, and the end is in sight for me after about ten rewrites so I figured I'd jump into it and knock it out. Going back and forth between different character voices really messes with my mind sometimes, so consider it a good thing. I'd like to keep both things true to the characters I've created. Just give me some time! Hopefully by the middle of May I should get it all done if not sooner. I definitely think when it's all complete, the wait will be worth it.

Anyway, I'm sure you understand. I'm no giving up on anything!

That's about it. I've had a crappy ear infection that's sidelined me the last few days, so I'm off to take my meds.

Anyone else a Richelle Mead fan? I'm going through the Bloodlines series finally and my book crush at the moment is Adrian. *swoons*

Anddd four months later...

I post again.

Just a quick update since it's been forever :-)

After about ten rewrites, I've finally hit my stride with my original. Hallelujah! It's seriously been a gigantic pain in the ass, but looking at it the way it is now compared to the hot mess it was at first. (If you read the first few versions, I'm so, so sorry haha).

So I can proudly say that I'm very excited about Pins, and I think you guys will definitely like it. In the very near future, I'll start sending out teasers. Now... to get the teasers, you have to join my mailing list.

Unfortunately, the company I used before did some funky things and I lost all of the addresses. *shakes fist* So if you're interested in getting said teasers sooner rather than later, click on the link to the left or go here!

Anyway, that's about it. My latest recommendation is my beloved The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. All I have to say is: it's the most beautiful heartbreak I've ever had. Go read it right now!

See ya!

The Good & The Bad

Not in that order, at least. :)

My apologies that it's been forever AGAIN.

After four years, my computer crapped out on me and I lost everything. Everything. I'm gagging as I write that. The only thing that survived was my current original. The amount of work I lost is enormous. Gigantic. On that note, I don't want to talk about it anymore haha.

Fortunately, I'm on my backup but still.

Computer issues on top of a hyperextended elbow are killing me. (If you've never had a hyperextended elbow, I pray you never do. Sling time is not fun time.)

The good news that I have for you is that I've completed the last draft of my original after what feels like a million rewrites. I just sent it off to my prereaders, then I'll get it proofread and hopefully out to you very soon! If you're interested in teasers, I'll be posting some on my Twitter account from time to time until the novel is out.

I'm resting my elbow for the next couple of days and refreshing my brain, so I can attack my next work. Let me tell you, I'm excited. So excited I'm sneaky smiling. The more I write, the faster I iron out the process. My goal is to eventually release a novel every two to three months. Is that a stretch? Probably but a girl can dream.

My book recommendation of the post is Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison. There are no words for the love I have for this. I fangirled like rarely before. You'll love Dragos Cuelebre. Trust me!

My Kid is the Greatest

My favorite picture of all time. Dorian "reading" The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (upside down, of course).  This is how I found him.

An update? Yes!

Well, an update on here.

Sorry if that was confusing :)

I'm happy to say that I've finished the rough draft of my next story. *cheers*

This means many great things. 1) My stress level will go down. 2) I can carve out some time for To Destroy without feeling guilty. 3) I can now really put my mind to deciding what the heck I'm going to do with the stories I've taken down. I do have a good idea what's going to happen with one of the ideas, but the other is still up in the air. I promise in a couple of weeks, I'll post my definite decision concerning everything (and teasers for my new work!). I just don't want to jump the gun.

What am I reading at the moment? Storm of Visions. I don't know how I feel about it yet. Meh.

Till next time! (With news and teasers!)
